Malabar Gold expands retail presence with two new stores

Leading jewellery retailer, Malabar Gold & Diamonds strengthened its retail presence in the Indian market with the addition of two new showrooms in India at MG Road, Bengaluru, and Solapur, Maharashtra.
 

The Bengaluru store is spread across an area of 22,000 square feet, while the Solapur store has an area of 4000 square feet.
 
The expansion is part of Malabar Gold's Rs 800 crore ($107 million) global expansion plan in which it plans to open 22 new showrooms in GCC, Far East, and India over the next few months.

The store will offer the latest collections from the brand which it claims is crafted in 100 percent BIS-hallmarked pure gold, diamonds, precious gemstones, silver, and platinum.
 
Commenting on the store opening, MP Ahammed, chairman of Malabar Group in a statement said, “With 22 store launches in the month of January, we are all set to make an impactful beginning to the New Year. As we continue our 28-year legacy of providing exceptional services and unmatched quality, our commitment to our customers will remain strong.”
 
Malabar Gold and Diamonds has a robust retail presence with more than 260 showrooms in 10 countries across the globe. In addition, the group has 14 wholesale units and 14 jewellery making units in India and abroad.
