Malabar Gold expands presence with new store in Hyderabad

India’s leading jewellery retail chain Malabar Gold & Diamonds has strengthened its retail presence in South India with the opening of a new store in the city of Hyderabad.
 

The new store is spread across an area of 25,000 square feet and located in Somajiguda in Hyderabad. The store will house a wide range of diamond, gold, and silver jewellery collections.
 
The showroom will be one of the largest of its type and positioned as the first-of-its-kind concept store in India. Additionally, the store also boasts of one of the largest jewellery store parking facility in the city.

Commenting on the expansion, MP Ahammed, Malabar Group chairman in a statement said: “The first Artistry Store aims to provide an unparalleled selection of jewellery for every occasion, for customers from all walks of life. The people of Hyderabad would love the luxurious experience of our flagship store and our specially curated designs.”
 
Malabar Gold has earmarked an investment of Rs 1,600 crore ($220.4 million) to strengthen its domestic and international presence in the financial year 2022. It plans to open 40 outlets across India and 16 internationally to further boost its retail presence across the globe.
