From the 20th to 24th of next January, the Villepinte Exhibition Centre will host the Maison & Objet fair, an international platform dedicated to design and the home which closed its September edition with an increase of 2.7% in the number of its visitors. The event will celebrate as part of its Talents à la Carte program (Hall 7) the work of six emerging designers: Cyprien Chabert, Eric Charles-Donatien, EON, Pool, Laurent and Victoria Wilmotte Segretier. Other names in fashion will also be present as the show, hosted by France's leading trade fair organizer SAFI, is expected to be the scene of the international launch of Roberto Cavalli's line for the home by Carrara Design. The space "Objet de Mode" located in Hall 6, and measuring 1,260 square meters in area, will also serve as a bridge between fashion and the home with 70 exhibitors, most of them French, presenting their collections of bags, jewelry, and ready-to-wear.

The most recent edition of the Maison & Objet fair attracted about 54% French visitors and 46% international ones. The visitor number comprised 64% distributors and 36% buyers for a total of almost 3000 exhibitors.

It should be noted that Paris des Chefs, launched in 2009, which brings together great international Chefs and designers of all provenances, will be held for the first time right in the heart of Paris at the Maison de la Mutualité theatre.
