Macho Hint launched with Tiger Shroff as brand ambassador

Macho, one of the highest selling innerwear brands in India has expanded its portfolio with the addition of its sub-brand Macho Hint.

Macho Hint will be endorsed by Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff and will offer a range of men’s innerwear in a price range from Rs 150-250.
 
With the new brand, the company is looking to reposition itself as a fashion brand and is targeting customers in the age group of 15 to 45 years to further growth. Macho’s turnover for the last financial year (FY 2016/2017) was 500 crore rupees ($75 million).

Speaking on the launch, Sandeep Seksaria, Director, Macho Hint in a statement said, “As part of our business strategy the brand is repositioning itself as a fashion-led brand thus we are launching Macho Hint, a new range of men’s innerwear with a touch of fashion targeting the age group of 15 to 45 years.”
 
On signing Tiger Shroff as brand ambassador, Sandeep Seksaria added, “Tiger is known for his style and fashion sense, which makes him endearing to all sections of the audience across age groups, especially the youth. We are happy to continue the association with him for Macho Hint and believe that it will resonate with the youth.”
 
Founded in 2005, Macho is part of J.G. Hosiery Pvt Ltd which was founded in 1980. J.G. Hosiery now has a revenue of 1,000 crore rupees ($150 million) and also owns the innerwear brands Amul and Sporto.
