MAC Cosmetics has announced its latest collaborator as Korean beauty visionary, artist and influencer Pony.

The beauty brand has snapped up the creative -- whose real name is Park Hye Min -- to co-create a whimsical 17-piece makeup collection, as reported by Allure.

"With packaging styled after tarot cards, an all-new collection by @ponysmakeup serves worlds of celestial inspiration," explained MAC in one of several Instagram posts teasing the new collection, which rolled out in the US and Canada this week, and will launch in select markets on October 1.

The collection spans Matte Lip Mousse, Plumping Lip Gloss, Skinfinish Liquid Powder-Highlighter and more, all in a range of dreamy, celestial shades. There are also accessories such as false eyelashes and makeup brushes, all branded with the same tarot-inspired motifs as the rest of the packaging.

"My collection with MAC is super meaningful to me in that I am able to bring K-beauty, Korean culture, and Asian beauty and culture to the global market," Pony, who counts 6.7 million followers on Instagram, said in an official statement shared with Allure.

Pony is the latest in a string of famous faces recruited by MAC, which has worked with the singer Aya Nakamura, influencer Patrick Starrr and designer Brandon Maxwell over the last few years.
