The brand’s new collaborative collection, named ‘Summer Sorbet’, features pastel stripes, relaxed silhouettes, and summery separates. The collection launched on March 1 and is the label’s first collaboration with The Handloom Project, the brand announced on Facebook.

“We collaborated with Fatima Radiowala and The Handloom Project to create this collection,” the brand announced on Facebook. “We have the expertise of creating the right silhouette but with Fatima we got a chance to use her expertise to explore custom made textiles by the weavers community she supports. Fatima has been associated with multiple fashion brands as technical and design consultant for handloom and handcrafted textiles providing sustainable solutions to design production.”

Fatima Radiowala and Srishti Tehri launched The Handloom Project during the Covid-19 pandemic with the aim of celebrating Indian crafts and supporting handloom weavers and artisans across the country. The organisation’s collaboration with Maati by Neha Kabra is part of its work to promote artisan crafts.

Neha Kabra runs her womenswear brand from Udaipur and describes the label as a grassroots community, according to the brand’s website. The brand is vegan and Peta certified and retails from its dedicated e-commerce store and stockists in Bengaluru, Indore, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.
