MAC Cosmetics names Bhumi Pednekar as India's first brand ambassador

Global beauty brand MAC Cosmetics India has named Bollywood actor Bhumi Pednekar as its first brand ambassador in India.
 

The actor will start her association with the brand in September and will be the face of MAC’s key campaigns and collections in India.
 
Commenting on her association with the brand, Bhumi Pednekar, in a statement said: “Being the first-ever brand ambassador for MAC in India is an honour and a dream come true. I’m so excited to be working with a brand whose values and ethics resonate so strongly with me & I look forward to having an amazing journey with MAC.”

Karen Thompson, brand manager at MAC Cosmetics India, added: “We’re so excited to have Bhumi become the face of MAC in India. In addition to her passion for all things beauty, we were drawn to Bhumi’s strong point of view and message of inclusivity. She epitomizes our brand values and serves as an inspiration to girls everywhere who dare to dream.”
 
MAC (Make-up Art Cosmetics) was founded in Toronto, Canada in 1984 and is part of The Estée Lauder Companies. The brand has 62 stores across India and is also available online on Nykaa, Myntra and Shopper's Stop.
