As FashionMag.com announced last August, M.A.C Cosmetics plans to invest in the most beautiful avenue in the world. The cosmetics brand owned by the Estee Lauder group will settle in the fall at 78 Avenue des Champs-Elysées (replacing the store Infinitive).

This will be its first French flagship spanning 200 square meters, which will be run by a slew of international make up artists. Throughout France, the second European market for the brand behind the UK, MAC counts 36 retail outlets (24 of its own boutiques as well as counters in department stores) and will open a fourth shop in Lyon in May and another in Lille in June.

Created in 1984, M.A.C Cosmetics was purchased in 1995 by the Estee Lauder group, whose 2011 revenues amounted to 8.8 billion dollars, of which 64% came from abroad.
