Luxury watchmaker Richard Mille to unveil extra flat timepiece
today Nov 26, 2015
Swiss watch brand Richard Mille is innovating once again with an extra flat automatic watch with pure lines and a refined design, temporarily forsaking its much-loved sports models. The RM 67-01 Automatic Extra Flat watch will be unveiled at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (International Fine Watchmaking Exhibition) which will be held in Geneva from January 18 to January 22, 2016.
Bordered with a coating of Luminova, the date window is positioned at 5 o'clock in a vertical opening, and the function indicator is located between 1 and 2 o'clock. This indicator, which can be moved by simply pulling the crown, makes it easy to see the winding, date setting and hand-setting positions.
The indices are made of metal and mounted on two linked and rigid titanium rails attached directly to the movement. Each index has been filled with Luminova for better readability in the dark, which is a first for Richard Mille.
The price of the RM 67-01 Automatic Extra Flat watch will be made known at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie.
