Luxury footwear store Berleigh opens in Delhi

Berleigh, the multi-brand luxury footwear and accessories store added its second store in the country at the Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj in New Delhi with an aim to tap into India’s growing luxury market.

Berleigh will house footwear from luxury and designer brands, such as Magnanni, Duke + Dexter, Schutz & Andres Sendra at the store catering to both men and women. The footwear range is priced between Rs 8000 (approx $120) and Rs 40,000 (approx $600).

The store will also offer accessories including socks and belts, polishes and shoe trees.

Berleigh owned by the DAR group had entered the luxury footwear and accessories retail space in April this year with a flagship store in Mumbai.

Executive Director at DAR Group, Shashank Arya in a statement said, “The DAR Group’s knowledge of the aspirational lifestyle industry means Berleigh is expertly placed to serve customers who crave the finer things in life.”

Creative Director at Heel & Buckle Luxury Pvt Ltd (Dar Group subsidiary which runs Berleigh), Payal Bathija added “We wanted to create a brand that perfectly encapsulates the beauty, craftsmanship and design in the products we stock. Every product is identified and hand-selected by experts we’ve appointed to scour the globe and call on top names from the world of fashion.”

Berleigh with Heel & Buckle is also looking to take the brands online by collaborating with e-commerce firms besides selling on its on platform.

Berleigh was launched early this year. DAR Group is one of India’s leading companies with diversified businesses like Hospitality, Aviation, Hydroponics, Housing, Manufacturing and Luxury Fashion.
