Lux Industries plans to increase the revenue from its innerwear brand Lux Cozi from Rs 700 crore to Rs 1,000 crore by the 2025 financial year. The brand aims to achieve this by strengthening its presence in regional markets with the help of local celebrities, the Economic Times reported.

“To begin with we have roped in Sourav Ganguly, the former captain of [the] Indian cricket team, as the brand ambassador for Lux Cozi,” Lux Industries’ executive director Saket Todi told ET Bureau. “Mr Ganguly is a popular person in West Bengal and is well known nationally. Bringing him [on] as a brand ambassador will help us to connect with our potential customers in an effective way.”

Following its focus on the West Bengal market, the brand aims to turn its attention to the south of the country. “We want to penetrate this market through regional brand ambassadors as part of our marketing plan,” said Todi about Lux Cozi’s plans for the south.

As well as reaching more customers through its brand ambassadors, Lux Cozi will also pursue continued double digit growth by expanding its product selection. By January, 2023, the brand aims to have entered the boy’s children’s innerwear market, which it sees as having strong growth potential.
