Lux Industries appoints Udai Kumar Agarwal as chief operating officer

Lux Industries Limited has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Udai Kumar Agarwal as chief operating officer.

In his new role, Agarwal will work with the leadership team to implement the company’s strategic vision across business operations.

Commenting on the appointment, Pradip Kumar Todi, managing director of Lux Industries in a statement said, "On behalf of the Board of Lux, I welcome Agarwal, an accomplished professional, as part of our leadership team. As the chief operating officer, he will bring a renewed direction to the Company's operations. This will further strengthen working of cross functional teams and its core business operations.”

“He has more than 13 years of relevant industry experience spanning from business development to business process improvement. He has a strong track record of leading businesses, setting up of green field apparel project, and launching new innovative products,” he added.

Lux Industries Limited operates brands like Genx, Lyra, and Onn, among many others, and is one of the largest players in the hosiery business.
