Lucknow Couture Week to showcase the region’s designers this January

Lucknow Couture Week will take place from January 30 to 31, and bring a host of traditional wear designers to Uttar Pradesh for the multi-brand event.

 
Events business, Callabrate Entertainment, will host a two-day fashion event to showcase couture in the region. The runway shows will focus on traditional and occasion wear, the event announced on Facebook. Designers will be announced shortly, according to Callabrate Entertainment. 
 
The event also aims to give student designers a platform from which to begin their careers. Lucknow is home to a number of fashion design schools including the JD Institute of Fashion Technology, the Usha Sewing and Fashion Designing Institute, Edunext India, and International Women Polytechnic, among others. 

The event also aims to be a platform for models in the region to kickstart their careers. Lucknow Couture Week has held an open casting call for both male and female models to find fresh faces for the upcoming event. 
 
The fashion week is organised by arts and entertainment business, Callabrate Entertainment. Based in Lucknow, the business specialises in fashion events in the region. The business also runs modelling contests.
