Louis Vuitton launches exclusive footwear collection in India

Louis Vuitton has launched an exclusive footwear collection for the Indian market. The LVMH-owned luxury brand’s winter festive launch features new colour ‘Rani Pink’ and a number of glittering designs. 

The new footwear collection is designed to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage and mix it with Louis Vuitton’s own established aesthetics and branding. The collection will exclusively retail in India in the 2022 winter festive season, Elle India reported. 
 
The collection is designed to have a celebratory feel, launching between the Diwali and winter wedding seasons, according to the brand. The Rani Pink hue, developed for this curated line, plays homage to the Royal Family of Rajasthan and their signature pink colour used in everything from jewellery to architecture. The collection also features gold and the classic Louis Vuitton monogram logo. 

Footwear styles in the collection include ‘Shake’ block heels, ‘Sparkle’ slingback pumps, ‘Revival’ mules, ‘Time Out’ sneakers, and ‘LV Archlight’ slingback pumps. Pink options feature sparking silver branded embellishments and gold designs feature the LV monogram embossed in leather.
 
Louis Vuitton’s stores in India are located in Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bengaluru. The LVMH brand entered the Indian market in 2002 and opened its first brick-and-mortar store in New Delhi in 2003.
