Fashion Craft is the first industrial manufacturing unit in India and the second worldwide to receive this certification, Louis Philippe announced in a press release. The factory uses a waste management strategy to promote both sustainable resource management and waste reduction. These measures are designed to promote positive environmental, health, and economic outcomes.

“The factory has implemented variety of sustainability measures including Reduce-Reuse-Recycle approach; diversion of waste from landfills, sustainable packaging, and processes such as in-house composting, zero-waste purchasing, and hazardous waste prevention,” announced Louis Philippe in a press release. “There is a strong emphasis on redesigning, innovation, and employee training in these aspects.”

The brand’s sustainability strategy is named ‘ReEarth- For Our Tomorrow’ and its goal is to restore the balance between natural resources and business ecosystems with a circular approach. True Zero waste certification is designed to confirm and celebrate businesses which define, pursue, and achieve zero waste goals. The certification also requires businesses to reduce their carbon footprint and support recycling and the extended use of materials.

Louis Philippe is a menswear brand in the premium segment of the market. Along with its range of formal and casual wear, the brand also retails leather goods and footwear.
