Lotto is looking to make deeper inroads in the country’s athleisure market and hoping the partnership with Ace Turtle will help boost its online sales.

The Italian sportswear brand, which currently has 40 stores in the country, has planned a massive retail expansion and will be adding 60 stores every year going forward. It is banking on Ace Turtle’s technology to increase its customer base in India and drive its online sales especially in tier 3, 4 and other smaller cities.

Commenting on the partnership, Amit Pahuja, brand head at Lotto in a statement said: “Lotto aims to scale its omnichannel presence to expand its reach to customers who do not have access to our physical stores. Ace Turtle, in the last few years, has grown rapidly to become a market leader in omnichannel enablement, and we are confident that their technology platform will play a significant role in accelerating our omnichannel strategy.”

Nitin Chhabra, CEO, Ace Turtle added: “With customers increasingly switching between various sales channels (offline and online), it only makes sense for brands to adopt a robust omnichannel strategy. We are excited to partner with Lotto, who has witnessed tremendous growth over the last few years. Our platform would play a critical role in enabling a unified brand experience for Lotto’s customers across various channels.”

In India, Sports Station India Pvt Ltd holds the licence to manufacture and retail the Lotto brand. It currently sells through its 40 exclusive stores and e-commerce platforms.
