Logitech X Arpita Mehta 'Reflections' showcase at FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week presents bohemian beachwear

Fusion wear designer Arpita Mehta presented her new womenswear collection ‘Reflections’ with a fashion film on the beach and a selection of exclusively designed prints at FDCI x Lakme Fashion Week on Wednesday.

 
Arpita Mehta’s latest collection, presented with Logitech, mixed resort wear staples such as floaty maxi dresses with more formal garments such as tailored blazers, all in bright, traditional-inspired prints. In Mehta’s phygital presentation, models frolicked on the beach and a gentle breeze fluttered about the boho-style full skirts. Garments were designed to be equally suited to lounging at home, wandering along the beach, and attending events. 
 
“Keeping in mind the summer, the colour palettes were divided into four vibrant variations: sunrise, soothing ocean of blue, burnished mango and the flaming red sunset,” Lakme Fashion Week said about the collection on Facebook. “The collection is meant as a summary of the unique and surprising characteristics of women, who play various roles in their lives.”

The designer recently celebrated the completion of her eponymous brand’s first decade in fashion.  Mehta marked the occasion by launching a coffee table photo book titled ‘The Mirror’ which features campaigns, runway shows, and more from the brand’s archives.
