LMIFW is being organised in association with EbixCash by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) from March 11-15, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

The autumn/winter edition will have 23 runway shows and over 80 designers participating via shows and stalls with ‘Fashion Wears Art’ as the main theme of the fashion week.

Commenting on the LMIFW, FDCI chairman Sunil Sethi in a statement said: “This year, the LMIFW will have a few art-inspired shows and the Grand Finale will be the jewel in the crown. We have some of India’s best designers, who are creating ensembles based on artworks and this will be one of the most impactful shows of the line-up."

“As fashion gets an artistic viewpoint, we hope to delight our viewers with something that has always been an integral part of the design world---art, even though it has been more subliminal than overt,” Sethi added.
