Liva opens third LAPF Studio in Tirupur

Aditya Birla Group firm Birla Cellulose’s fashion brand Liva has opened its third exclusive Liva Accredited Partner Forum (LAPF) Studio in the textile hub of Tirupur.

The Tirupur Studio will house a collection of more than 2,000 wide varieties of fabrics including woven, knitted, flat knitted and more. Liva’s season collection by its in-house designers will also be showcased at the studio to attract global buyers.
 
Liva opened its first design studio in Noida in 2017 following which the brand entered the international market with a studio in New York. The company plans to add two more studios one each in Jaipur and Bengaluru later this year.

Dilip Gaur, Business Director, Pulp and Fibre Business Aditya Birla Group in a statement said: “Today we are happy to launch LAPF Studio at Tirupur along with Tirupur Exporters Association (TEA), which I feel will serve as a fountain of innovation for Man-Made Cellulose fibre based knitted apparel.”
 
Raja M Shanmugam, President, Tirupur Exporters Association said: “Our vision in TEA has been always to work towards excellence in buyer engagement, infrastructure and product innovation through collaboration. In this direction we see LAPF Studio as a platform for fuelling business growth for the Tirupur cluster.”
 
Birla Cellulose launched Liva, the lone branded viscose fabric in India, in 2015. It currently caters to the needs of apparel brands like Madura Fashion and Lifestyle, Fashion Big Bazaar, Lycra and Spandex Zara and H&M, among many others.
