Linen Club, owned by Jaya Shree Textiles and promoted by Aditya Birla Group, plans to expand its India business and is also exploring opportunities to launch in Southeast Asia, the Press Trust of India reported. Aditya Birla Group will concentrate on expanding the brand into Tier 2 and 3 locations in India and into areas where its research shows that shoppers are spending more money on tailored clothing.

"We want to double our business and be around Rs 1,500 crore by 2024 along with a network of 400 brand outlets," Aditya Birla Group’s CEO for domestic textiles and Thai acrylic fibre, Satyaki Ghosh, told the Press Trust of India. Ghosh said that the brand’s current revenue stands at between Rs 700 crore and Rs 800 crore.

Linen Club plans to double its presence in multi-brand retail outlets to around 11,000 up from its current total of 6,500. The brand also aims to introduce a wide range of new products. “We also sell to lots of brands which use our fabric,” said Ghosh. “That business would also grow." Following a large-scale brand expansion, Linen Club’s long term goal is to launch in the US and Europe.
