Limerick by Abirr N’ Nanki travelled through the galaxy for its digital fashion showcase on Wednesday. Draped fabric, chiffon layers, and asymmetric detailing gave the collection the feel of a modern take on the 1960s with just hints of Emilio Pucci and Courrèges. Dramatic get comfortable silhouettes mixed more formal tailored pieces with floaty gowns and mini dresses.

The collection included a range of exclusive prints, some featuring flowers and hands, others more abstract, and some resembled the night sky with a deep blue background and constellations and mythical creatures. The whimsical prints added am element of fantasy to the collection and danced around as the models moved throughout the fashion film.

Models wore futuristic silver caps or buns with porcupine-like spikes sticking out. Makeup was kept natural save for bold silver eyelids which added to the 1960s does futuristic aesthetic.

The second joint edition of FDCI x LFW held its first full day of shows on October 6 after launching on October 5. The fashion week will run until October 10 and counts Nexa and Rise Worldwide as sponsors.
