Limerick by Abirr N' Nanki has launched a line of 27 different face masks featuring the brand’s signature surreal printed textiles and a range of embellishments.

The brand retails the masks from its e-commerce store and plans to donate 3,000 to a Mumbai hospital, as many medical facilities find themselves with a dearth of protective equipment.

The masks are made with fabric that features anti-micro bacterial JIS Z 1902-certified additives and feature a ‘PP Meltblown Nonwoven Fabric Layer’, the brand announced on its website.

“The Limerick mask has four layers with two active layers in between that provide protection by filtering the contaminants and other microorganisms,” the brand wrote. “Both layers have been sourced from certified manufacturers ensuring an all round protection against pollution and other harmful micro-organisms.”

Prices online range from Rs 1,800 ($23.64) for a printed fabric mask to Rs 3,300 for an embroidered mask. The masks showcase the brand’s quirky and craft-based aesthetics and simultaneously provide protection against viral transmission.

Abirr Papneja and Nanki Maggo Papneja launched Limerick by Abirr N' Nanki inspired by prints and surrealist aesthetics, according to the brand’s website. Abirr Papneja is the brand’s business head and fashion graduate Nanki Maggo Papneja is its creative head.

The brand has a flagship store in New Delhi and Mumbai and also retails from its dedicated e-commerce store.
