Liberty aims to sell 1 lac perfume bottles in 1 year

Liberty’s lifestyle division which recently launched its perfume range is aiming at selling 1 lac bottles of perfumes in the country over the next 12 months.

The company is also looking at diversifying its product portfolio with the addition of new products to its lifestyle division.
 
"Perfume is just the beginning. We will expand our product portfolio by the end of the next year. In the next 12 months, we aim to sell close to 100,000 bottles if perfumes," Adesh Kumar Gupta, CEO of Liberty Shoes & Liberty Lifestyle told the Economic Times.

“The company will initially sell its products on e-commerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa and Purplle. The perfumes will also be sold through the company's own website libertylifestyle.co.in. Going forward the perfumes will be available in large format stores like Pantaloons, Lifestyle and Shoppers Stop,” said Gupta.
 
“Liberty Lifestyle will also open a couple of kiosk model stores in a months time to sell its products in the malls. As the product portfolio increases we will start rolling out exclusive stores for Liberty Lifestyle," he added.
 
The newly launched EDP (Eau de Parfum) collection consists of 12 fragrances for men and women. The entire range is priced between Rs 1,699 ($22) and Rs 2,499 ($30).
