Levi's opens largest Asia store to date in Bengaluru

Denim and casual wear brand Levi’s has announced the launch its largest store in Asia to date in Bengaluru, measuring  7,521 square feet. The new store is located on Bengaluru’s Brigade Road and marks Levi’s commitment to focusing on the Indian market for growth.

The new store has been designed in the brand’s NextGen store format, Levi’s announced in a press release on March 30. The store features Levi’s signature ‘501’ jeans, which celebrate their 150th anniversary this year, as well as an in-store ‘Tailor Shop’ which enables shoppers to have their purchases customised with a variety of adornments. 
 
“With consumer behaviour shifting in the ever-changing retail landscape, we at Levi’s®continue to prioritise how we deliver our iconic products and an impactful brand experience, especially to our growing base of young, savvy consumers in India and across Asia,” said Levi Strauss & Co’s managing director and senior vice president for South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa Amisha Jain in a press release. “With this year marking the 170th anniversary of Levi Strauss & Co., the Brigade Road store – our largest in Asia – aims to be a premium one-stop-shop  in one of the region’s most vibrant cities. It will allow us to engage with Levi's® fans who are looking to create a style statement and connect with one of the most well-loved apparel brands in the world,”  

The brand has named India as a priority growth market. “As we look to scale up our investments in Asia, the opening of the Brigade Road store signifies our commitment towards offering quality and innovation in the latest fashion to consumers in both India and the wider Asia region,” said Jain.
