On September 4, Levi’s India launched its Royal Enfield collaborative collection on its dedicated e-commerce store. The collection -- which features jeans, shirts, jackets, and printed t-shirts, among other products -- is designed to mix Levi’s denim know-how with Royal Enfield’s understanding of motorcycling, the latter’s head of apparel business, Puneet Sood, told the Times of India.

The collection features Cordura denim, designed have high abrasion resistance. A number of jackets in the collection have also been designed for motorcycle riding and feature slots in which to insert shoulder, elbow, and knee armour, reflective tape for high visibility, and 3D pockets.

“The product aesthetics and the functionalities set this collection apart and I am sure the motorcycling community and even the rider at heart will love this collection,” Levi’s managing director for South Asia and MENA, Sanjeev Mohanty, told the Times of India.

The apparel line also features graphic t-shirts designed by artist and rider, Toria Jaymes, who works under the name ‘Stay Outside’. The cartoon-esque, brightly coloured prints depict animals riding Royal Enfield motorbikes mixed with Jaymes' own rendering of the Levi’s brand name.

The apparel collection retails from Rs 1,499 ($20.49) to Rs 7,999 and denim prices start at Rs 6,999.
