Lenskart strengthens retail network with the launch of its 500th store

Indian eyewear retailer Lenskart strengthened its retail network with the opening of its 500th store in the country.

The new store is located at Bengaluru and spread over an area of 5,000 square feet. It will house its private label brands like Vincent Chase, John Jacobs along with international labels such as Oakley, French Connection, Ray-Ban, and Tommy Hilfiger.
 
Speaking on the launch, Peyush Bansal, CEO, Lenskart India, said: “We are very excited to launch our 500th store which is also India’s largest. Lenskart’s focus has always been pushing the bar on customer experience and this is exactly what we have done in this store. We have put-together a lot of innovation and thought in the store to give our customers a contemporary experience with trendy eyewear range at an economical price range.”

Lenskart is currently in talks with investors to raise funds to fuel its domestic and international expansion. It plans to open another 150 brick-and-mortar stores in India by March 2020.
