Lenskart signs Bhuvan Bam as its brand ambassador

Lenskart, the retail eyewear platform, has signed YouTube sensation Bhuvan Bam as its first-ever male brand ambassador.
Lenskart is looking to cash-in on Bam's popularity on social media to connect with the millennials for growth in the Indian market. The eyewear retailer will soon launch multiple campaigns featuring Bam, who will also produce exclusive content for Lenskart.
Commenting on its association with Bam, Peyush Bansal, founder and CEO at Lenskart.com in a statement said: “Bhuvan is a youth icon and he appeals to the audience we’re looking at targeting. Lenskart believes in challenging the status-quo whether it’s in the kind of products or the services it offers the customers. We’re looking forward to working and creating fun campaigns with him.”
Bhuvan said, “I have always loved Lenskart and their collection because as a content creator for BB Ki Vines. Lenskart has been my one-stop shop for all my eyewear requirements and I’m really excited to be a part of the Lenskart family because it also aligns with my mantra and that is having fun with what you do.”
Lenskart has also launched a special section called #BBkeFrames, which consist of a collection of John Jacobs and Vincent Chase brands selected by Bhuvan Bam.
The new collection will be available on the M-site, website as well as in-store.
