Lenskart launches new brand 'Lenskart Studio'
Eye wear and eye care business Lenskart has launched a new brand named ‘Lenskart Studio’, designed to mix fashion with functionality. The new private label line will offer collections inspired by various subcultures, starting with hip hop.
“In its steadfast commitment to emphasising the relevance of eye wear in fashion, Lenskart reveals its new brand Lenskart Studio,” the business announced in a press release on May 29. “Lenskart Studio by Lenskart aims to become a canvas for exploration- a space where fashion and eyewear are synonymous, free-flowing, and unadulterated… Featuring a fresh take on oversized silhouettes and iconic bold shapes, this eyewear has been designed to make a statement.”
Frames in the new line are priced from Rs 2,700 onwards and are available to purchase from Lenskart stores across India and on its dedicated e-commerce store. Lenskart Studio’s new ‘Hip Hop’ collection features hybrid double-rim glasses with metal accents and a double nose bridge for a retro, boxy style.
Lenskart launched in 2010 as a tech-enabled startup and retails a multi-brand selection of eye wear. The business has expanded with an omni-channel model over the past 13 years and ships over 10 million pairs of eyewear every year and has reported over 40 million app downloads, according to the business.
