Legend 1942 partners with Shweta Bachchan and Navya Nanda for new campaign
Perfume brand Legend 1942 partnered with celebrity mother daughter duo Shweta Bachchan and Navya Nanda. The duo came together to launch the brand’s new campaign and perfume range.
For its new media campaign, Legend 1942 aims to honour women who support each other across all aspects of life, the brand announced in a press release on March 8. Legend 1942’s fragrances are designed for both men and women and its new launches are designed to be gender neutral with ‘Flamboyance’, ‘Heritage’, and ‘In-DNA’, each of which come in a ‘Black’ and a ‘White’ variant.
“Am I more? Am I less? Am I his equal? Why should I be? I am not a number. I am me. And I am equal to myself. That's what matters,” wrote Bachchan on Instagram as part of the campaign. “I choose to be strong and beautiful,” followed up Nanda on the platform.
“Fragrance, much like clothing, can be a means of expression,” announced Legend 1942 in a press release. “It can ignite moods, celebrate feelings, light up occasions, and communicate ideas with a whiff. Keeping in mind, this initiative by Legend 1942 is a powerful concept to uphold women's achievements, recognise challenges, and focus greater attention on women's rights and gender equality.”
Legend 1942 is a premium perfume brand curated by Bollywood celebrity Amitabh Bachchan and crafted by Anuradha Sansar, the brand’s co-founder and CEO. The brand retails from its dedicated e-commerce store and its tagline is, “Let’s take India to the world”.
