Lee Cooper opens stores in Manipal, Pune

Lee Cooper has opened two new stores in India in Manipal and Pune as it continues its brick-and-mortar expansion across the country. The English-American clothing and accessories brand’s new addresses retail its full selection of casual wear and footwear.

The new Lee Cooper store in Pune adds to its retail presence in the city after launching its first Pune store in 2014. In Manipal, the new Karnataka store will offer the brand’s latest collections to the city’s shoppers, India Retailing Bureau reported.

The brand has been opening new stores across India and opened a new store in Indore earlier in the month. In November, Lee Cooper opened a new store in Gwalior to bolster its retail presence in Madhya Pradesh.

Lee Cooper also recently launched a new collection of sneakers for the winter season, the brand announced on its Facebook page dedicated to the Indian market. Featuring neutral hues and retro inspired designs, the sneaker line is designed to compliment its winter collection of graphic sweaters and chunky knits.

In 2021, Reliance Retail and US-based business Iconix partnered to jointly acquire the brand rights to the Lee Cooper brand in India. The brand was previously manufactured in India by Future Lifestyle Fashions.

Lee Cooper was founded in London, UK by Morris Cooper in 1908 and went on to become established as a denim and casual wear brand. Entering the Indian market in 1995, Lee Cooper debuted with a collection of footwear in partnership with M&B Footwear.
