Leather on the Ramp 2018 show concludes in Kolkata

The Indian Leather Products Association (ILPA) recently organised a fashion show titled ‘Leather on the Ramp 2018’ in the city of Kolkata. Various leather brands like Rajda, Freya, Kompanero, Trio, Hunt and ASG showcased their creations at the event.
 

ILPA organises this event annually and is hopeful of having a great year for the leather industry in the country. Bollywood actress Sayani Datta walked as the showstopper at the event.
 
Commenting on the leather show the actress said, “I have walked for ILPA before and I am really delighted to be the showstopper again. Like all women, I love bags and this event gives me a chance to see what the latest trends are!”

“Every year we come up with interesting ideas to showcase the brilliant collections from the participating brands. It has been a great year for us in terms of business and qualitative growth. We look forward to a fantastic year ahead with our participation in Mipel 114 and organise a buyer seller meet in 2019. The team has done a great job and the show was absolutely spectacular,” said Adhar Sahni, ILPA President in a statement.
 
Tejas Gandhi designed the outfits to complement the accessories and bags showcased by leather brands while Pinky Kenworthy choreographed the entire event.
