Lavie enters sustainable fashion segment with 'Qisa'

Lavie, a premium lifestyle brand, has entered the ethical and sustainable fashion market with the launch of its digital-first brand ‘Qisa’ in the Indian market.

Qisa will cater to Gen Y and Gen Z women offering a wide range of handbags and slings in the price range of Rs 599 ($8) to Rs 1000.
 
Qisa has exclusively partnered with e-commerce major Flipkart to strengthen its presence and expects strong sales on the e-commerce platform.

Speaking on the launch, Ayush Tainwala, CEO Bagzone Lifestyles Pvt Ltd owner of Lavie, in a statement said: “With this range of handbags and slings, we are trying to bridge the gap between sustainability and affordable fashion. We are excited to partner with Flipkart as they have the desired reach and distribution that will help Qisa scale on to great heights.”
 
Nishit Garg, vice president at Flipkart Fashion, added: “People’s tastes in fashion have evolved over the past year as they become more conscious about their purchases and sustainable products are gaining popularity across the country. We are happy to address this growing need with the much-awaited launch of Qisa by Lavie.”
 
Lavie, which was started in 2010, has exclusive stores across major cities and retails in two-tier cities through Bagzone stores, Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle, Central, and other leading handbag retail chains across India.
