Some changes are taking place at Lanvin. The house has named Daphné Cousineau its new global sales director.
She is to succeed Stefano Robino and will report to CEO Michele Huiban. Cousineau will be coming from Valentino France, where she served as managing director of wholesale for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as for partners stores.
Having gained experience for six years at McKinsey and then at Vivendi, Cousineau joined the luxury industry in 2005 when she took over as head of wholesale for Celine. Two years later she joined Valentino.
She joins Lanvin at a time of celebration, as the house releases a collection to mark its 125th anniversary. Shaw Lan Wang, a Chinese businesswoman, bought the company in 2001.
