Landmark Group India appoints Vikram Idnani as chief information officer

Retail and hospitality major Landmark Group has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Vikram Idnani as chief information officer (CIO) for its India business.

He joins the Landmark Group from Reliance Retail where he was the senior vice president-information technology responsible for leading technology initiatives for all retail businesses.

In his new role, Idhani will be responsible for Landmark Group’s implementation and execution of all technology initiatives coupled with customer experience enhancement.

Commenting on his new role, Vikram Idnani in a statement said, “I am excited to join Landmark Group, one of the largest retail and hospitality companies and take on the responsibility of chief information officer. I look forward to working alongside the talented team to realize higher potential for the business going forward.”

“With that, the aim is to accelerate the company's strategic growth, strengthen the customer innovation experience, increase agility of its supply chain and implement new technology initiatives to enable the business to scale,” he added.

Founded in 1973 in Bahrain, the Landmark Group is one of the largest retail groups with operations in Middle East, Africa, and India. It entered the Indian market in 1999 and currently operates formats including Lifestyle department stores chain, Home Centre, and Max Fashion in the country.
