Lancel names actress Lili Reinhart as new ambassador
The French leather goods brand Lancel has just revealed the name of its new ambassador, Lili Reinhart, the American actress best known for her role as Betty Cooper in the series Riverdale. Lili Reinhart, aged 27, is taking over from Isabelle Adjani and Beatrice Rosen.
Described as "inspiring and inspired, cool and sophisticated" by the Parisian fashion house founded in 1876, Lili Reinhart has also created her own production company, Small Victory Productions. Her first film "Look Both Ways", in which she also starred, reached number one on Netflix when it was first released.
Lili Reinhart has also published a book of poems titled Swimming Lessons, which made the New York Times bestseller list.
The first images of the Lancel and Lili Reinhart duo are and will be included in the Spring-Summer 2023 and Autumn-Winter 2023-24 campaigns, both shot by photographer Peter Ash Lee.
Lancel, which belongs to the Italian group Piquadro chose Lili Reinhart in order to boost its visibility internationally. In its last published financial year, 2021/2022, Lancel achieved a turnover of 60 million euros, up 26.3%.
