Lakme Fashion Week launches Accessory Designer Program for upcoming edition

Lakme Fashion Week has launched an Accessory Designer Program to give a platform to India’s emerging accessory design talent ahead of LFW's upcoming summer/ resort 2020 edition.

With its new Accessory Designer Program, Lakme Fashion Week will shine the spotlight on accessory brands at its upcoming edition, the event announced on Facebook. The fashion week will hold its next edition in Mumbai in February 2020 with exact dates to be announced. 

The fashion week has also opened applications for its Showroom Designer Program. The event’s Designer Showroom gives fashion businesses the change to showcase their products on a stall and promote them to an audience of international and Indian buyers to increase their distribution networks. Applications for Lakme Fashion Week’s Established Designer Program closed on November 30. 

Lakme Fashion Week held its most recent edition for winter/ festive 2019/ 2020 from August 21 to 25 at the St Regis in Mumbai and the season saw the event celebrate its 20th birthday. Participating designers included Kaveri, Kanika Goyal Label, Urvashi Kaur, Antar-Agni, and Arpita Mehta among others.
