Lacoste to open more outlets in Indian airports

Lacoste, the French fashion label that has its roots in sportswear, is targeting travel retail in India, reported The Economic Times.

Lacoste, which already has a store at Bangalore airport, will open eight new retail outlets. Four will be located at the Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi and Kochi airports, selling fast-moving products like T-shirts and accessories.

From the next financial year, Lacoste expects total sales of more than 6% from its airport retail stores. It will also launch a transactional website in India in 2016, and pace up the process of adding more outlets in the country from next year.
