The new Calicut store launched with the brand’s latest collection which features an array of pastel hues and glittering details on lehengas, sarees, and kurta sets designed for summer festivities. The store also has a comprehensive bridal section. The brand’s store in Calicut had previously closed but Label’M is now back in the city.

The store’s interior features a gold ceiling, custom gold filigree wallpaper, and a yellow and deep brown colour palette. Warm lighting illuminates Label’M’s designs which hand throughout the store with more simple pieces displayed on shelving.

The store adds to the brand’s five other flagships in Vytilla, Lulu Mall Kochi, Coimbatore, Trivandrum, and Triprayar. The brand also runs the label Mannath which retails casual ethnic wear such as cotton kurta tops and retails both lines from its dedicated e-commerce store although Label’M designs, as couture pieces, need to be pre-ordered.

Based in Kochi, Kerala, Label’M is currently celebrating its tenth anniversary. Designers Anu and Reshma launched the brand in 2009 to celebrate South India’s textile and garment heritage and the brand has come to specialise in South Indian bridal wear.
