La Perla recently reopened the doors of its New York City flagship boutique, which followed a remodeling by architect Roberto Baciocchi who designed all of the Prada and Miu Miu stores.

The design of this 3,200 ft² space brings out the influences of great Italian architecture over the two floors containing La Perla's men's and women's collections. The arch is one of the most distinctive architectural elements of Italian art and has become the distinguishing feature of this flagship store with its double-arch façade dressed in Noir Doré marble.

The entrance too is structured with a dual level, creating a theatrical display for the La Perla creations, enhanced by the soft, powdery colors of pale blue, dusky pink, amethyst purple and daffodil yellow.

The area dedicated to the men’s collections features gray and sky blue colors that range to darker tones.

The flagship’s second floor is devoted to VIP customers and the Made to Measure and Atelier Collections and features such elements as a "service" bell to call for the sales staff.

The New York flagship store’s remodel follows the company’s recent boutique openings in San Francisco and Atlanta and the relocation of the Miami Bal Harbour store. This fall, stores will open in Houston and Chicago.
