In anticipation of next month's official LA Fashion Week runway shows, organizers have released insight into the theme of the event – cultural diversity – and previewed some of the designers that will show.

LA Fashion Week runs March 16 through 18 - LAFW

LA Fashion Week is a melting pot of West Coast designers and international talent. Designers who are committed to the show include LA-based stylist and designer Shani James as well as Australian women's contemporary label Betty Tran.

Additional designers who will show include Mexican streetwear label Anuar Layon, Peruvian celebrity couturier Noe Bernacelli, Maison The Faux from Amsterdam and eveningwear designer Michael Leyva.

Arthur Chipman, Executive Producer at LAFW said, "LA is going through a cultural renaissance and we are excited to be a driving force behind its development into the premier hub for fashion, art, design and entertainment."

LAFW was declared by LA Mayor Eric Garcetti as the official fashion week of LA and has been recognized by former First Lady Michelle Obama for being innovative and promoting cultural diversity in the industry.

Chipman added that Los Angeles "is surging with energy and artistic talent, and we cannot wait to unveil this season's offerings."

LAFW FW18/19 commences with its Opening Night Gala on March 16th, 2018. Runway shows are held March 16 through 18 at Neuehouse Studios in Hollywood. LAFW is produced in partnership with Porsche Beverly Hills, Entertainment Tonight and Cosmoprof North America.
