Kunal Anil Tanna to showcase abstract collection on LFW finale day

Menswear designer Kunal Anil Tanna will present his summer/resort collection on the runway at Lakmé Fashion Week on February 16 in Mumbai, to showcase his modern take on traditional wear.

Next Sunday, Kunal Anil Tanna will present a collection that “invokes the summer restfulness and unconventional amalgamation of the elementary with the abstract,” according to the brand’s press release. The designer, who specialises in mixing traditional silhouettes with textured details and modern styling, has been named as one of the designers to present at Lakmé Fashion Week’s final day.
 
Kunal Anil Tanna entered the fashion industry after studying management before studying fashion design at the National Institute of Fashion Design in Mumbai. Tanna has worked with famed traditional wear designer Manish Malhotra and on a number of Indian films including 'Om Shanti Om'. The brand’s design studio is located in Mumbai at Off Linking Road and the brand retails from stores in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Dubai.

Lakmé Fashion Week will hold its 20th anniversary season from February 12 to 16 at JioWorld Garden in Mumbai. The fashion week’s finale day will also feature designer Amit Aggarwal who will showcase a collection titled ‘Axil’.
