Kukoon plans online expansion, to enter kidswear market
The womenswear brand Kukoon is looking to strengthen its presence in Indian market by launching its own e-commerce website in the coming months.
The brand is also looking to partner with e-commerce websites to boost its sales and will be showing at events across the country to expand its consumer base in India.
“We currently have a static website we shall go dynamic and e-commerce way soon – we are available on other e –commerce websites like Pernia, La Sosta, Carma Online to name a few. We do a lot of personal interaction on Instagram and try to convert sales from this platform,” Sneha Mehta, founder at Kukoon, told FashionNetwork.com.
“Our own Atelier is our only point of sales as of now, we are also constantly exhibiting in many prestigious shows to reach out to a larger audience across the country,” she added.
Talking about the brand’s future plans and expansion of product portfolio, Sneha said, “Trends is our latest launch and we will continue breeding & refining it. It’s interesting to see how young consumers are also beginning to make their choices and there’s a huge rise in aspiration amongst kids too. That said, we are planning to largely focus on kids wear now that’s a market we have reviewed and studied and feel it's quite dynamic and growing very well for us to be a part of this revolution.”
Kukoon was founded in 2014 by Sneha Mehta. The brand retails internationally from its dedicated e-commerce store.
