Kottail Milano to open 40 exclusive brand outlets this year

Menswear brand Kottail Milano plans to open 40 exclusive brand outlets this calendar year with a focus on Tier 2 locations. The brand will focus on the north of India including in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

“We have witnessed a tremendous level of traction in Tier 2 cities and the planned retail expansion will be an important milestone in our objective of opening 500 stores in the next three years,” said Kottail Milano's director Mayank Bansal, India Retailing reported. “The latest step will also help us navigate our way into newer categories like womenswear, kid’s wear, activewear, and footwear.”
 
The brand currently specialises in men’s western style formal and semi-formal wear and retails a wide range of blazers, shirts, trousers, and accessories. By foraying into children’s wear, the brand aims to tap into the fast growing product category and by offering womenswear, the brand will be able to offer clothing for the whole family, enabling it to draw in a wider customer base. 

Anil Bansal launched Kottail Milano in November 2016. The brand is targeting a revenue total of Rs 100 crore in the 2024 financial year after reporting revenue of Rs 50 crore in the 2023 financial year, foreseeing that its ambitious store opening plan will significantly increase its turnover.
