Kompanero witnesses 60 percent growth in revenue, plans to open EBOs in Europe

Indian premium leather brand Kompanero is looking to strengthen its presence in the international market by opening exclusive brand outlets in the European market in the coming months.

The company has witnessed an overall growth of 60 percent this fiscal from the last financial year. The brand is banking on international and domestic expansion for future growth.
 
"The company has a firm hold of the international market with products being available in more than 250 stores in Australia and in more than 100 stores in the UK. Europe will soon have exclusive stores apart from the products sold in the market via distribution networks. Overall, as a brand, the turnover has grown by 60% from the last financial year," Indranath Sengupta, CEO of Kompanero told the Economic Times.

"With four new stores in the pipeline, we are expanding our presence in existing cities. In addition, the brand’s airport presence is being strengthened with our newly launched store at Guwahati Airport and Chandigarh Airport, & an upcoming one at Chennai Domestic Airport," added Sengupta.
 
The leather handbag and accessories brand Kompanero, which was founded in Bengaluru in 2014, currently has a total of 30 exclusive business outlets in India. It also sells its products through e-commerce portals like Amazon, Myntra and Jabong.
