Kolkata Fabric Expo to hold 2020 edition in June

From June 13 to 14, trade show ‘Kolkata Fabric Expo’ will hold its 2020 edition, linking textile and accessories manufacturers with buyers, alongside ‘Kolkata Fashion Expo’, which will hold a range of runway shows. 

 
The upcoming edition of Kolkata Fabric Expo, organised by Kolkata Fashion Expo and events business Surat Dreams, expects around 80 exhibitors showcasing textiles and fashion accessories and 4,000 visitors, according to its profile of events site,10 Times.

The two-day business-to-business trade show will cater to garment manufacturers, wholesalers, and buyers to facilitate networking, ideas exchange, and trend forecasting for the coming season, the event announced on Facebook. 

Kolkata Fashion Expo will also take place this year with a number of traditional wear-focused runway shows to promote clothing brands, with a focus on brands from around Kolkata. The event’s 2019 edition saw actress Vani Kapoor walk the runway for brand W.N.W and womenswear brand Zola launch its latest collection. Participating brands in the upcoming edition of Kolkata Fashion Expo will be announced closer to the event.
 
Kamal Pugalia launched Kolkata Fashion Expo in 2015 to showcase the region’s garment industry. Since its inception, the event has held multiple editions both in India and abroad.
