Italian cosmetics brand Kiko Milano is betting big on the Indian market and plans to strengthen its online and offline network in the country.

Kiko Milano will expand in India through exclusive brand outlets and shop-in-shop (SIS) concepts. It will also partner with e-commerce firms.
Kiko Milano recently opened its fifth retail outlet in Vegas Mall, Dwarka in Delhi, which is its 11th in India. The company is looking to further expand its presence and plans to add another 45 stores by 2020 across the country.
"We will focus on having more point of sales, whether it's exclusive outlets, online or shop-in-shop. We have two more outlets coming up in Delhi, and one each in Lucknow, Mumbai, Guwahati (the first in northeast India), and Kolkata," Abhishek Bhattacharya country director at Kiko Milano, told IANS.
"Initially we thought of opening just the retail stores, but we have understood that in the Indian market, it has to be a mix of retail and other modes of expansion. We have our shop-in-shop (SIS) concept, and we are also going to tie with more departmental stores, in addition to exclusive brand outlets," he added.
Kiko Milano was founded in 1997 in Milan, Italy. It has more than 1,000 stores in over 20 countries and has an online presence in 36 nations offering over 1,400 products.
