“There are currently over 1.25 crore small retailers in India who have no digital presence,” said Kiko Live’s co-founder Alok Chawla, ET Retail reported. “Even if we can help 1% of these sellers increase their business by selling on ONDC, it will be over one lakh sellers. The fact is that 25% of India’s GDP comes from small retail and these sellers have no avenue to sell online.”

Kiko Live is designed to help shops manage their online deliveries, this is tailored to businesses which are too small to manage their own logistics. “We can help them in digital footprint easily and quickly, get discovered, offer trackable quick hyperlocal services, and also help retailers get discovered and sell on ONDC,” said Chawla.

Kiko Live uses SaaS technology to offer a range of services to small businesses, targeting entities which currently only retail from brick-and-mortar stores and WhatsApp. The business is based in Mumbai and describes itself as a social commerce platform.
