Kiehl's relaunches Mumbai store with ameliorated technology
Kiehl’s India has relaunched its Mumbai store in the city’s Palladium Mall. The skincare brand’s new address includes a range of new technological features and interactive offerings including personalised consultation sessions.
The new store has a bright interior and modern design, Palladium Mall announced on Facebook. The brand was previously situated in Jio Drive in Mumbai before relocated to Palladium Mall for the new opening.
The store features Kiehl’s 'Healthy Skin Assessment Tool' which is designed to asses customers’ skin by both the strength of the skin barrier and the hydration of the skin epidermis. By getting a comprehensive picture of customers’ skin types and health, the Kiehl’s staff can recommend products to address specific issues and concerns.
Kiehl’s bases its skincare on apothecary knowledge and is positioned in the luxury segment of the market. The brand follows a 'made better formulas' concept in India where each product on sale in the store features one key ingredient which was sustainably sourced. The brand aims to increase its list of sustainably sourced ingredients over time.
Another sustainable initiative undertaken in the new store is Kiehl’s India’s ‘Recycle and Rewards’ programme. Customers can bring in their empty containers and recycle them in-store in exchange for a reward from the brand, Indian Retail Bureau reported.
