Kiehl's opens first store to date in Indore

Kiehl’s has opened its first store in the city of Indore at Phoenix Citadel. The apothecary skincare brand’s new opening is its first brick-and-mortar offering in central India.

Kiehl’s new Indore store  retails the brands’ full selection of nature inspired skin, hair, and body care products, the brand announced on Facebook. Positioned in the premium segment of the personal care market, Kiehl’s describes its approach as ‘science-based skincare’. 
 
The store also features Kiehl’s ‘Recycle and Rewards’ programme which enables customers to bring in their empty product containers and recycle them for special rewards from the brand, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. The programme is designed to demonstrate Kiehl’s’ commitment to sustainability and encourage customer engagement in the matter. The brand also includes at least one sustainably sourced ingredient in each of its products. 

Kiehl’s launched its ‘Healthy Skin Assessment Tool’ in the new store. The tool assesses the skin barrier strength and hydration levels to identify and find treatments for individual skin concerns. The store has a vintage apothecary style design and enables shoppers to test out products with its ‘try before you buy’ programme. 
 
Kiehl’s is based in New York, US and has over 170 years of history in the personal care market. Along with its products, the brand offers specialised consultation services for and dermatologist solutions to address specific skincare issues.
