Kidszone Fair to showcase children's wear in Mumbai this July
From July 23 to 24, business-to-customer shopping event Kidszone Fair will present a wide selection of children’s clothing and accessories among other products at the Thakur Banquet in Kandivali, Mumbai.
The upcoming event will feature product categories including clothing, footwear, jewellery, home décor, arts and crafts goods, food, toys, and educative tools for children among others, the event organisers announced on Facebook. The event aims to promote local children’s themed brands to Mumbai’s shoppers.
Stall bookings are still open to vendors with limited spaces remaining, according to the event organisers. The fair is also in the process of partnering with influencers whose content centres around childcare and motherhood to promote the event through influencer marketing.
The fair is themed as a ‘Rakhi Edit’ ahead of the upcoming Raksha Bandhan festival which falls on August 11 this year. The event will feature clothing and accessories for the festival as well as interactive elements to create a festive atmosphere.
Children’s wear is a fast growing product category in the Indian fashion market and this trend was accelerated by the pandemic when parents sought to find ways to entertain and look after their children while stuck indoors. Many clothing brands have come up with dedicated children’s clothing lines in the past few years and numerous new labels have launched.
